Curriculum vitae
Mr. Christian Leischner studied biochemistry at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen and graduated with a diploma. From 2011, he worked as a research assistant in the Department of Internal Medicine I at the University Hospital Tübingen, then from 2016 in the Department of Vegetative and Clinical Physiology at the Eberhard Karls University Tübingen. Among other things, he was responsible for the organisation and implementation of internships, as well as for teaching and student support.
In addition, from 2017 he was laboratory manager in the Oncological Research Group for Epigenetics and Nutrition at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen.
Since 2020, he has been laboratory manager responsible for the organisation and supervision of the laboratories in the Department of Biochemistry of Nutrition of Prof. Dr. Dr. Venturelli at the Institute of Nutritional Sciences at the University of Hohenheim.
His research tasks include work on epigenetic tumour therapies using cell and tissue cultures of different tumour entities using naturally occurring active ingredients. In addition, he is also heavily involved in the supervision of students during their practical training and the supervision of scientific theses.
